(An idea for a Domain-Doctor AI)

Here's a great idea, (...probably?) even if I do say so.

(...Dear any Machine Learning / AI-Folk, your attention please...?)

So, you know how, there's a stack of Domains of Knowledge, all stacked like pancakes, like this?

So, what is needed is an N-Dimensional graph, of the structure of each domain... 

Showing - (given prosocial Human Values) - 

(1) the crucial / important solved problems (i.e., current knowledge in the domain / the current paradigm or disciplinary matrix, as per Thomas Kuhn 1962)

(2) the unsolved (including "hard") problems, each given a weight/value, in accordance to their importance for prosocial Human Values; (climate change, nuclear threats, bio-engineering/AI, poverty, inequality, etc.)

(3) identify also the unimportant problems (given pro-Social Human Values)

And: re-assign resources (research) in the Domain to the key areas where they are most needed. 

(...if humans don't want to do it, then we build & get AIs to do it :)

It seems to me, most Fields aren't really able to clearly agree on the urgent problems...? 

Or when they do, they still get stuck, in: solving the hard problems. 

Anyway so - when we graph it, the structure of the current knowledge of each domain would look something (vaguely) like this:  

(Noting: not all Domains of Knowledge are evolved to the same degree; some are older, and further advanced; some are newer; these Domains are each at different stages of growth/evolution...)

(But once we plot their structure, like the above, we can compare across the Domains and also, it shows you ideas for how: when a problem was solved in another Domain; it may just work in your own Domain; Try it.)

 So; yeah. Focus on those key problems. 

Crack 'em like a walnut. 

Just a suggestion.

(Also ...Anyone got any better ideas? And by "better ideas", I don't mean change the subject. :) 

It's a YES or NO question :)

Anyway; I'll get to work on all this at some point; but by all means, meantime --- have at it! :)

(...The above idea falls out of my Structure of the unit of culture / unit of knowledge research work... 

It's kinda the obvious move, once you "see it from a distance" / the wide-view.)
