Writer's Digest Review of Chronicles of Fire
Hello Readers,
Back in April I entered "Chronicles of Fire, Rise of the Elementals" in the 19th Annual Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Awards and today I received the review from the judges of the contest. My novel didn't place, but I am still very proud of the results and I would like to share them with you...
"On a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 meaning "poor" and 5 meaning "excellent," please evaluate the following:"
Plot: 5
Grammar: 4
Character Development: 5
Production quality and cover design: 5
Judge's Commentary:
What did you like best about this book?
"I loved this book. It certainly was a page-turner. Your prologue was intriguing and pulled reader into the story. I liked the natural dialogue between the characters. I enjoyed learning about fencing as a school sport. I liked the camaraderie of the Three Musketeers. You did a great job of characterization of all the characters; you made me really like and understand them..."
The remainder of the review contains spoilers, otherwise I would post it. In other news the Audience Participation Murder Mystery I blogged about earlier is currently in production. I hope to have a video to post in the very near future.
