I have to tell you about some amazing people in our community. The owners of the local Grocery Outlet saw my diy desk video and asked me if i could make some desks for them. They wanted to donate them to the local schools for the kids who are in need because of distant learning. I didn't hesitate to help them out. They asked for 25 desks to start but the need was great so we upped it to 35!!! My wonderful wife helped me through the whole thing and even surprised me with four desks she made while I was at work. The owners wanted to keep it low key but I just have to let others know how much local business means to a community like ours. Thank you Karin and David for being wonderful people. #supportsmallbusiness #groceryoutlet

(London, England): Romeo Cox, 11, reunited with his “granny” Rosemary on Sunday after traveling by foot, bike and sea 1,700 miles between Palermo Italy and London England. Accompanied by his father, Romeo set off from Italy in late June, took a sailboat from Sicily to Naples, they cycled for a brief period, and then began their long trek which consisted of waking up at 4:30 AM each morning. The pair walked around 20km (12 miles) a day using parts of the Via Francigena, an ancient pilgrimage route connecting Canterbury to Rome. At night, they camped out in their tent or asked for accommodation in hostels and convents. “We would sleep in the middle of nowhere under the stars and trees and those were some really good times,” the preteen said. Over $16,000 was raised for refugees and children less fortunate in Palermo.

changed forever when, at 26 years old while at home w/her 6-mo-old baby boy on an ordinary day, she suffered a massive stroke. Today, more than a decade later & with the horrific effects of the stroke still present, she speaks frankly about what it means to cultivate joy in the midst of suffering & dashed dreams. I love this woman and my perspective is shifted, my heart softened & my passion for Jesus heightened every time I’m in her presence. Thank you beautiful @hopeheals. I honor you.
