Florence Osmund Interesting article, Cj. I agree that COVID-19 hasn’t significantly changed the writing routines for us full-time authors, at least it hasn’t for me. But it may have opened up an opportunity for new and aspiring writers, those who may not have had the time to fit writing into their routine before. I have a similar story to tell. The other day I went to buy a new mattress. I asked the salesperson if the pandemic had had any effect on their business. Surprisingly, he told me they were having a stellar year. So maybe what’s happening is the things we did before the pandemic that we can’t do now have given way to new things, like replacing mattresses, cleaning out closets, and writing that book we always said we wanted to do but never had the time. Catastrophes work in mysterious ways.

Congratulations on finishing “The Accidental Heiress.” I wish you the best of luck with it!
