The “Moscow Expedition”: Exploitation of the Dakota and Ho-Chunk Exiled to Crow Creek

Shortly after their exile from Minnesota following the U.S. – Dakota War, the Dakota and Ho-Chunk people at Crow Creek suffered because of a failed exploitative scheme to provide provisions that became known as The Moscow Expedition.
