In a related note, I was just thinking that I haven't seen any "Company GAAP" manual lately. These are typically a listing of the accounting policies and treatment for a specific organization. Things like "Our general depreciation threshold is items over $1,000 for items with a useful life of more than 1 year and not held for sale or resale".
I have clients articulate this to me but I haven't seen a written document in at a client in some time.
