Trust the Pilot

When you travel by plane, you have complete faith in the pilot. You don't stand over his shoulder and tell him how to do his job; you sit back and trust him to get you where you're going. You believe that he knows what he's doing, and you don't worry about his plan.

God is the Pilot of our lives, yet so often we fail to fully trust Him. We tell Him how to do His job, like we know better than He does. We worry that He doesn't have it figured out, and our faith is often lackluster at best.
But life would be so much easier if we would sit back and trust Him to get us where we're going. If we would have faith in His ability to do His job and trust in His plan.

He never promised a smooth ride, nor does He save us from hitting turbulence every now and then. But He does provide a safe landing in the Promised Land. He will deliver us, but we have to give Him control. Otherwise, the plane will eventually crash.

Life is a journey we can't make on our own. Through the ups and downs, twists and turns, fears and failures, the Pilot is in control. He knows the way to our destination. It's not our job to try and fly the plane. Our job is to make the most of the flight.
