The first photo was taken in 1927 on Old Creamery Road in Penn Township, south of Dexter, Iowa.

Ages 2, 4, 6, 6, 8, 9, almost 12.

The second was taken on July 4, 1938, when Don was home on leave. Dexter, Iowa.

Ages  almost 13, 15, 17, 17, 19, 20, 23.
