3 random facts

@fckthishitrn tagged me in a Thing! (Thanks for the tag!) I don’t like reblogging super long posts (clutters people’s dashes and whatnot), but here’s the initial text/instructions:

Okay, so three random facts about me…

1. I wear nail polish pretty much all the time. Why, you ask? Beyond it just being fun? I’m a lifelong biter, that’s why. It does help prevent that, but years of biting have made my nails weak, so now it just gives them some protection that way, too. Side-fact: I have big hands (big bones in general) but tiny, child-sized nails. It’s a great combination, lol.

Side-note the second: I do own books. Crap tons of them. That shelf is empty because I’m moving in 12 days, lol. 

2. Speaking of which, I’m moving. I hate moving so much. I believe this makes my 44th move in my adult life. Something like that. I’m short half a month’s rent because of the deposit I paid on the new place and in a general panic about how I’m going to survive for the next couple of weeks, but it should be okay in the end. The new place’s rent is exactly the same (like, to the dollar) as my current place, but it includes hydro (electricity/heat), which should be a lot better, plus there should be noticeably fewer meth heads in the stairwells. Like, still *some* meth heads for sure, but fewer. Lol. (If, for whatever reason, you feel moved to contribute to the “SA surviving financially” fund, my PayPal email is my fandom one, silentauror@yahoo.com, but no pressure, haha! Seriously.) My current building is being its standard tool self about my move, not letting me book the moving elevator in the evening (which I need bc my movers are my bff and his husband, who are only available in the evening), and deepening every part of why I’m leaving this stupid place. Wish me luck, ugh. 

3. This last one is a bit dark, but… I’m in isolation at home since yesterday because I’m waiting on the results of a Covid test. In my province, they call you if it’s positive and I kind of think they would have called by now if mine was positive, but on the online portal where you can check your results, it still says there’s still no result available. So… um. Send all of your good vibes, if you would. I haven’t told anyone besides my parents and my bestie in my offline life. Somehow this feels safer.
