Our Balmy Winter: Curse or Blessing?

For me, it's practically a no brainer: BLESSING. I'm not a winter fan. Shoveling snow is the most tedious scut work. Scraping ice off the windshield clocks in as a close second. But this balmy winter has been different. So far, that is. I'm not totally negative. One good thing winter brings is increasing my reading time.

I saw where our natural gas company has had to curtail production. Do you tire of hearing the furnace running all the time? It's like the sawbucks are slipping out of your house. I also heard Ace and Home Depot are ordering their lawn mowers earlier than usual. Right, cutting the grass every week. Oh-oh, now I can feel a summertime gripe coming on.

Happy reading to you and yours!
