My compliments. Such a great post. I'm all for fun, fluffy, and light. I'm also a fan of having a goal but not putting a time limit on it. Enjoy the process. Yes, I think we all have been creatively sidelined lately. I know I have been. Take care and happy writing.

I love your post. We need to set goals and be willing to not meet them. But, then were they just wishes? Without goals we may feel lost and adrift. I've set a goal for my next book and hope to be able to make it. Some days it seems easy and some days it seems like a stretch. So great to hear from other authors that their journey is the same.Belynda Wilson Thomas
Hi Belynda - thank you! It was hard to admit it, easier to share it and to find out other authors are the same makes us kindred spirits. :)Best of luck with your next book.
Thank you for this Jan. I have heard other writers despair about Covid 19 and their productivity. My excuse has been an excess of time and too much distraction via social media. This from a woman who rarely watched the news. I'm thinking that was a good thing, but now I'm hooked...at 5a.m. What else is there to do after I feed my starving feline authorities? As you suggest, I will try not to be hard on myself. Perhaps when I least expect it to, inspiration will surge forth like Niagara Falls!
