Short Fiction Collection to be published
Exciting news! Ticonderoga Publications is bringing out a collection of my short fiction next year. They are a specialist small press for speculative fiction, and I'm thrilled to be working with them on this new venture. The book will be distributed internationally. More info here:

How exciting!I have a question, will you be using K.Y. Craft's artwork for any of your future book covers? I thought what she did for the Wildwood books was breathtaking.

K.Y. Craft also did the covers for "Wolfskin" & "Foxmask". She is an amazing artist indeed!

There will be a variety - a lot of them will be my previously published short fiction eg Otherling and Twixt Firelight and Water, but there will be a few new ones including a story featuring hedgehogs. That's about all I'm prepared to say!

Sorry I've been so slow to reply, Shannon. The choice of cover artist is made by the publisher so I can't answer this. For the short fiction collection I'm using a wonderful Australian artist whose work everyone will love (because this is being published by local small press I got to make the decision on the cover, with the publisher's approval.) The Shadowfell covers are very different from my previous ones - you'll have seen the US cover on my Facebook page perhaps. The Australian cover, which I haven't seen yet in its final form, is a painting by another Aussie artist and not at all like the Wildwood covers.
I do love Kinuko Y Craft's work, and I hope we'll work together again some time in the future.
Any chance of a hint to what some of stories will be about?
