Heyyy, look at this!! I’ve been sleeping on the job or something and didn’t notice that my story Love Is passed the 30,000 hits mark! I was aware that it was getting close, but it must have crossed that line a day or two ago! This makes my 17th fic out of my current 87 to have attained this milestone! This is a post-series 3 story that deals hard in the theme of unrequited love. John’s head is *quite* firmly lodged up his posterior in this one, but he has a real come-to-Jesus moment (which the companion story, The Things That Matter) shows in depth and it all works out in the end. The basic concept is: Sherlock initiates the conversation about their friendship becoming something more and John turns him down. The angst level of this nearly gave me an ulcer. Enjoy, lol!
