"Call Me by Your Name" Director Defends Straight Actors Playing Gayface

The movie Call Me by Your Name was problematic for me from the beginning. Starting with the fact that the book was written by a straight man. I despise this movie for many reasons I'm not getting into now. For me, the entire movie is cringe, and it reminds me of how far we still have to go for total equality.
