Calmness
On December 10, 2019, I tweeted "My novel Leave Society is a threat to everyone including me" but now after two more drafts I think it's more of a gentle, calm suggestion or idea.
The protagonist of the novel, Li, views leaving society as "a relative thing." He has lived in NYC since 2001 and in midtown Manhattan since 2011, and has been immersed in pessimistic, neurotic cultures and subcultures for decades, and so he feels that "almost any change would qualify."

Is it safe to assume there will be some McKenna influence in the novel? I imagine you got into The Chalice and the Blade because of its mention in Food of the Gods. I still need to read Eisler's book myself, which I've been procrastinating since reading McKenna's book like six years ago lol

I still need to read Eisler's bo..."There is McKenna influence in the novel, yes. I did get into Riane Eisler from McKenna, and from Eisler to many more books, like those by Marija Gimbutas.
Nice, I definitely look forward to the novel! I'll have to check out Gimbutas as well, I guess after I get to Eisler.
