I'm writing this on Easter Sunday afternoon, during a rare quiet moment of this very busy weekend. (And by quiet, I mean that my daughter is not here running wild, although the dogs are barking nonstop. It's all relative.) I know I used to do all my blogging on weekday mornings. But I've realized that the mornings are so busy now that my entries have gotten kind of rushed and sucky--not to put too fine a point on it---so I figured I'd try something new. We'll see how it goes.

We've spent the last
