Remembering the Wormhoudt Massacre 80 Years Ago

“That’s how my captain died. Saving my life. He was a fine man and a fine soldier,” remembered Bert Evans who survived the Wormhoudt Massacre. The Nazis tried to erase these brave men from history, but the British soldiers who fought the S.S. at Wormhoudt are still remembered today for their immortal heroism.
