Another secret shared...
You know the best part about being a best-selling author… aside from having the best readers in the world? The amazing people I get to talk to. I’ve had wonderful conversations with people about The Space Needle in Seattle, The Savoy Hotel in London, and Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. In each case, I had a specific question about their location and wanted the details right for a book. In each, I explained I was an erotic romance writer and what I was doing and in each they gave up their time and expertise to help.
As I think you know, Kodiak comes out next Friday, August 21st. I can’t wait for you to meet my sexy alpha bear shifter, Alex Kingston. He gives new meaning to the word gruff! Hopefully, in the next newsletter, the newest free novella will be available (waiting on the editors). In Vino Veritas, Luca and Seraphina’s (from Claimed and Mated) story is coming. I know y’all have been waiting for this one and I think you’re going to agree it was worth it! Don’t worry! I haven’t forgotten about Abriana and Micah. Their winter wedding is being planned now.
I am also pleased to be able to finally announce that I am part of the 2021 Dirty Daddies Anthology! My entry is appropriately titled Best Seller:
“Where is it precisely you think you are going pet?” he said with the smallest indication of seductiveness.
“I’m the aggrieved party in this…”
“The aggrieved party? Hardly,” he snorted. “What you are is one naughty little girl who needs to get her bottom spanked so that she understands that she is not going to engage in foolish, dangerous behavior.”
And I still have two more secrets… coming as soon as I have been given clearance to release them! As hard as it is for you to not know? It’s just as hard for me not to share!
As for the next regularly scheduled novel… I’m working on Who Dares Wins—the motto of the British Special Forces group. I had planned to start on Fated II, but Robert Fitzwallace wasn’t having it! Here’s the opening lines:
“Jordan James!” he bellowed from outside the Salon in Baker Street.
“Get yer ass out here now or by Christ woman, I’m coming in after you
and you’ll sorely regret it.”
I’m sure a lot of you were planning to attend author events this year and were as disappointed as I when they were all postponed. Well, that just means twice as many to attend next year – ten scheduled for 2021 and one already for 2022!
