Why Reading is Important

Dear Avid Readers,

I am certain that you've heard the following saying: "People that read and write, rule the world."

Henceforth, I am writing in this blog to encourage "you", dear reader, to keep up the great work!

As you are aware, not everyone values the invaluable aspects that are embedded into the art of reading.

Below are a few facts that discipline-and-escapism-reading produces for its loyal cohorts.

1. Your IQ is enhanced.
2. Your brain health is trained.
3. You're more likely to be okay with alone time and entertaining yourself. (If properly utilized, this allows you not to depend on others for your personal happiness)
4. Your creativity is sharpened.
5. Your emotional intelligence is enhanced because you develop the silent voice of a reader that's in tuned to its subject's mind. (Subjects's mind: People that you engage)

Tune in for my next blog post. Subscribe to my email list for reading/self-development content. Watch my weekly newsletter on my website: Just Get Up And Thrive.

Also, visit my website to checkout my new titles that are currently under production.

Meanwhile, thanks for reading and please come back again.

"Not reading is just as bad as not knowing how to read. Wh? Both constructs produce ignorance."

Kind regards,
