10 Epicly ConFused Authors Play D&D

I've been promising Aidan Moher of A Dribble of Ink that I would do a guest blog for him for about 6 months. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), I try to put my novel writing first. So in the press to get The Blinding Knife in by deadline, I haven't even had a day to spare. But Epic ConFusion in Michigan, that I just attended courtesy of Subterranean Press, gave me both the time and the topic.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the height of nostalgic geekery: my mostly accurate account of a D&D game played with Pat Rothfuss, Peter V. Brett, Joe Abercrombie, Myke Cole, Scott Lynch, Elizabeth BearSaladin Ahmed, Jay Lake, and Jim C. Hines over at A Dribble of Ink.

Myke Cole also did a quick roundup of the weekend HERE. Joe Abercrombie's take is HERE. And an apology to Jim Hines for misspelling Du'ud as D'ude. My orcish is horrible.

Felix That has got to be one epic set of people playing a very creative game. I would have loved to have just been there watching and hearing what would have been said and done. I cannot imagine how truly awesome this must have played out.

Jessie I haven't played DnD since I was in middle school. That must have been an epic game, and I agree with Felix that I'd have been tickled just to watch and hear all the creative takes on a game by authors like all of you.
