Ahh! So sorry to do another of these posts so soon, but the timing just worked out that way!! If you’re newer to following my tumblr, every time a story reaches 10,000 hits or another 10,000 hit milestone after that, I just make a post to say thank you! So here we are, another story just attained its first 10,000 hits, which is so cool!! Set in Stone is the sequel to, honestly, one of my favourite stories of my own, Bridging the Ravine. Many people have said that BtR has been one of the few post-series 4 stories they can stomach at all. It’s also my first (of two, so far!) fake-couple-for-a-case stories: Sherlock and John are sent to a fancy retreat/therapy centre for same-sex male couples to investigate some mysterious goings-on, and while they’re pretending to get therapy, they end up actually getting some. These two stories boast by far the most original characters I’ve ever written into a single fic - over twenty named OCs, but the main ones are the other couples in their group therapy group and the counselling staff. There’s a LOT of good food in both stories, plus it’s set in the Malvern Hills and there’s a spa and yeah. I had a great time writing these two some much-needed therapy after series 4!!! The sequel, this story, sees them return to Ravine Valley for some more therapy, and also follows up with several of the other characters from their group. Thank you to all of you who have read either one of these!! Set in Stone is the 59th of my current 87 stories to get to 10,000 hits - thank you for every last one of them!!
