Just back from line editing that final book, and with an amazing cover I’ll soon be revealing, I needed a break from my desktop! After going on five months of quarantine hibernation, I finally managed an escape, braving torrential rains for an hour drive to my hairdresser’s chair (all properly masked and sanitized!), lost a small dog-sized pile of hair along with its shades of grey for this refreshing clip and fun highlights of blonde and copper. 


Add to that, a delivery of awesome cupcakes from my niece’s new bakery (The Mad Batter! Don’t you love it!) right to chairside, followed by a trip down the street to share some with my D-i-L and grandguy! Man, oh man, did I need that reminder of what it was like to be normal (in a safe way!). 


Now, back to desk and keyboard and the homestretch to this month’s release of RISE BY MOONLIGHT!
