Do you like your historical romance to sound “historical”? Not written just like  people talk nowadays, but supposedly set in the past?

When people ask me what I write, and they aren’t familiar with the Regency period, I tend to tell them “sexy Jane Austen”. Paying close attention to word choice, and attempting to only use words that were documented as part of the English language by 1850 or before, I love composing emotional, humorous Regency stories of love.
