I am the Doubting Thomas and question everything. Oftentimes I just like being contrary :) Personally, I fall over to the theistic side. The claim that all this going on around and in me arises purely out of mechanical and chemical means seems patently ridiculous to me. Frankly, I don't see how atheists can insist such unimaginative nonsense. No, I don't have a traditional view of God. It is not an entity. It is certainly not a male, nor the god of the Israelites, nor is it Allah. It doesn't need to be worshipped or obeyed. It is "the force that through the green fuse drives the flower", to quote my favorite poet, and as such gets honor from me automatically. I see magic everywhere, but perhaps I am blessed with the Elf Eyes of Legolas!
And, hey, how come I don't get awesome anons like this more often???
