I Have a Cabin

It is the week of July 4. For the last twenty years I have spent the day at my cabin. But not this year. My cabin is in Canada. Nothing fancy. A pump for water from the lake, an outhouse (Deluxe Outhouse according to the purchase agreement), and plenty of mice. But also a large screen porch that sits next to the water. A place of gatherings, meals, and games for family and friends. And a place just to enjoy the quiet and beauty of the world. My favorite place.
