Differences

February is almost upon us. And always about this time of year, I start thinking about romance. Thinking about love—all those wonderful, warm and mushy feelings. And about the difficulties of those warm mushy feelings. Yes, difficulties. Let's face it, … Continue reading →

Jessica I grew up with three brothers so I totally understand what your saying here. Whenever me and my mom are talking to my step dad or brothers they always get confused, but we understand each other completely, and the other way around. We always laugh about how long it takes and how many times we have to explain something to them before they finally understand what we're getting at.

Jessica So quick question. You mentioned a little bit about Burnett and Holiday. I was just wondering if there is anything more serious that happens between the two of them?

Daphne I agree with you...the way we think definitely makes it interesting trying to always convince each other that we are correct in our actions or thought process. Its even worse when adding two A type personalities to the pot. As for your questions: since I'm a listener and don't opinionate unless I'm being asked a question; I tend to communicate well with the guys. I think most folks women included will get bored and think you are too into yourself if the topic is always about yourself which will result to the rolling of the eyes.
Holiday and Burnett are A type personalities; they are drawn to each other because they are attracted to each other and the fact that they can rile up each other. The constant bickering and neither of them caving in is just foreplay.

Daphne @Jessica - I don't know about you but I often imagined Burnett just stepping up in front of Holiday sort of invading her space; putting both of his hands on the wall; staring her down and just calling out how they feel for each other. He could say something Burnett style like; "You are stubborn and sexy. I'm drawn to you and I know you feel it as I feel your attraction toward me". I don't know something like that...damn when this book comes out again?! :)

Jessica Haha Daphne that's how I always pictured it, or something along those lines. Cuz Holiday is to stubborn and scared to do anything about it, so it's really going to be up to Burnett to get things rolling.
