Bookplates for Ink & Sigil

Hey, friends. Hope you’re as well as possible—the world sure is interesting and challenging at the moment. Since I can’t tour for the release of Ink & Sigil in August but want you to have a signed copy if you want one, I have a spiffy bookplate offer for ya. There are two different ways to get one!
1. If you preorder a hardcover copy from any of the four indie booksellers below in the US, magic things happen: You support a local business that pays taxes, and your copy will be shipped to you with a signed bookplate already inside! They’ll ship anywhere in the US. If you are outside the US they may or may not ship to you depending on Covid restrictions, so please check with them first. Won’tcha order from them if you haven’t already?
Poisoned Pen (they’re in Arizona)
Mysterious Galaxy (they’re in California)
Fountain Bookstore (they’re in Virginia)
Malaprops Bookstore (they’re in North Carolina)
2. If you have already preordered from a different vendor, OR you’re going to order from a different indie store you want to support or maybe you’re overseas and ordering from a store there, OR you’re going to preorder an ebook or audio version but would still like a signed bookplate for reasons, we can make that happen! HECK YES. It’s just an extra couple of steps. Do your preordering thing, or find the record of the one you already did, then screencap your order. Then email that, plus the shipping address where you want the bookplate sent, and I’ll send the bookplate to you myself. You gotta email that info here: info at-thingie kevinhearne dot com
So sorry I can’t see y’all in person. This is honestly the best solution we could come up with. Thanks so much for your support!

But hey, good news? Want some?
Ink & Sigil got a starred review in Booklist, which said it was “a terrific kick-off of a new, action-packed, and enchantingly fun series.” It also got a rather ebullient “Delightful!” from Library Journal (I didn’t get to see the whole review, but I’m hoping the rest was similarly positive). Plus some spiffy authors have said some mighty nice things about it. None other than Charlaine Harris said, “I loved every word,” and author Stephen Blackmoore said, “With Ink & Sigil Kevin Hearne takes the world he created in the Iron Druid series to a new gonzo level. Al MacBharrais might be his best character yet.” Jaye Wells said, “Ink & Sigil is filled to the brim the Hearne-anigans we’ve all grown to love,” and Charlie Holmberg said, “Between the worldbuilding and clever prose, this one is worth a read.” And Adam Christopher added, “A delightfully grimy journey through the hidden underworld of Glasgow, Ink & Sigil vividly blends Kevin Hearne’s unique take on urban fantasy with the grit of Scottish magic.”
So yeah. I hope you’ll preorder and dig it. Out August 25!
