—Setting:—

A two-story house, on the second floor. Inside a library and study room, Mancy Iotule. A ‘twenty something’ female sits in a rolling chair by a desk. She is poking at an empty jar.

The sound of a ladder hits the outside window. The window is open. Her friend, Zoelin Patters, and her boyfriend, Doug Grain, climb into the library/study room.

Mancy: Hey! You guys came in the right time. I was bored out of my mind!

Doug: Troublemaking again?

Mancy: (pouting) I didn’t say anything…yet (winks)

Zoelin: That’s not trouble. It’s fun time. Got any ideas?

Mancy: Dry as a bucket! (bemoaning)

Zoelin: Good. Had something on the back burner. I remember it so let’s do this before it slips away from me again! (whistles ecstatically)

Doug: I blame you. (points at Mancy)

Mancy: (returns a dewy-eyed, innocent fawn look)

Zoelin: Learning to do handstands inside the mall! Me boyfriend will record it too.

Mancy: Not at our usual mall but a mall 2 hours away.

Doug: Arg. I ain’t the video man unless it’s at the Green Bug mall.

Zoelin: An hour away not bad.

Doug: (grabs the edge of the desk and pretends to bang his head on it)

Mancy and Zoelin jump in the air and high five.

—At the Green Bug Mall, there were so many deals the handstands were postponed. By a smartphone accessories cart, Mancy and Zoelin look at cellphone covers. Doug holds a shopping bag of gym socks and new shoe laces.—-

Mancy: Aren’t we forgetting something?

Zoelin: Yeah. Not enough cash and coins to buy some cellphone covers! (whines)

Mancy: I got plastic! But, I can’t overspend my weekly balance on it. I’ll be toast again!

Zoelin: That’s okay. You just buy yours, Mancy. At least one of us should be happy.

Mancy: Nooo. We’ll buy them next time when we both can at our nearby mall.

Zoelin: Yeah!

Doug grinds his teeth in happiness. He is trying to stop himself from teasing them about their forgotten handstand challenge.

Mancy: What’s up Doug? You look like a woodchuck having a stroke.

Doug: Some cheap snacks on me! (He blurted out finally and still trying to hold his inner laughter.)

Zolein and Mancy: YAY!

Doug, Zolein, and Mancy drinking red ‘Slurping Burpings’ from straws while sitting on a bench by plastic trees and bushes inside the Green Bug mall.

Mancy: (burps loudly!)

Zolein: (also burps loudly!)

Mancy: I think we are seriously forgetting something?

Zoelin: Yeah…do you remember, Doug?

Doug: (belches horrifyingly making other people notice and making an ‘almost gag faces’)

Zoelein: Guess not…

Mancy: (shrugs her shoulders and goes back to her ‘Slurping Burpings’)
