Come To Me…

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29)

Today, as we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I thought it would be appropriate to highlight the above invitation from Jesus. Taken from the gospel of today’s Mass, it’s an offer too good to pass up.

Are you tired of feeling weary and burdened? Spend some time with Jesus today. Surrender your problems and your entire life to Him. Ask Him to give you the rest that He promised.

If it sounds simple, that’s because it is.
