Let me know how you guys are digging the seed line(s) first, and the poem swiped over. I think it’s cool to give those of you who are busy a taste, and those of you who want the full dish the option for it :) Let me know. This is
Typewriter Series #3003 by Tyler Knott Gregson
Took tornado to bring me to life,
to wash this monochrome world
with technicolor, with gold.
I stood still as stone
as all the world fell down
around me.
At the center of the spinning
I swear you were bird sounds
and stillness,
the rope around my waist
and the stake driven deep
into the earth.
I was windswept,
you were laughter.
Lifted this house to the heavens,
tore the rafters from the roof,
I lived in black and white,
seeking fortune from
carnival and cart.
Took your tornado
to bring me to life, to
raise me high above
the fence line,
and cover my world
in paint.
