Re-entry — Back to life after finishing Book 3.

So, I just sent my third book to my agent. I suspect that it's a giant mess … (except for the moments when I think it's the BEST THING I'VE WRITTEN EVER).

It's not even a book, really. At this stage, when it's just an unedited lump of lumps, people in publishing call it a manuscript or an MS. When I first got an agent, it was unnerving because he was always asking, "How's your MS?" And I'd think, "Relapsing and remitting, thanks." And then I'd feel bad for making a multiple sclerosis joke...
