WHAT YOU PROBABLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT WHY / WHAT I WRITE

For my series of books from the Arrested Series, I have not stated publicly the reasons why I write what I write. Each of these books is about abuse. Yes, they’re romance books, yes, they have some steamy sex scenes inside the pages, but no, they’re not only about sex (hence they’re not erotica). These books are about abuse, specifically abuse that women deal with everyday, that isn’t normally spoken about.

If you’re interested in how abuse plays out in real lives, and real reactions and real responses to it, even responses that will leave you calling my characters idiots, or bitchy, you’ll see and feel the emotions involved in relationships that aren’t meant to last.

And don’t worry, sometimes the women are the one's who make the men miserable, LOL. It’s not biased against sex or any other bias. It’s intended to feel like a real story, with real life situations and real emotions, that hopefully will make you think about what’s real in your world too.
