There was something with her big, blue eyes. You know she had that look where you could be standing as cold and lifeless as a statue, wondering about what she was thinking. She would pull her long, black hair back, she would smile, shake her head and she would say something that would make you feel like a fool.
“Time is running out and we are supposed to live our life to the fullest! Don't wait for me to move on!”
Then she would grab my hand and we would start our journey to the limitless path of the unexpected and unfair life like two teenagers who had just started discovering the first leaps of love.
Before moving on with my confession, I’d love to remind you that life is full of surprises and you should never say never. You‘d better believe me, my friend, and not because of my age. In the future, you might think of me. You should never forget that from the day we were born, life would always find a funny way of proving us wrong.
My apology for the delay in moving on with my confession, promise I’ll be short with no boring details.
It never mattered how tired I was. As long as I had her next to my side, I could do everything. Sometimes the only thing I needed was a few hours of relaxing at home, but you see, my dear friend, she had a magical way to help me get past my fatigue and all the nasty thoughts.
I would never forget the times she would place her long, thin fingers on my back, caressing softly my skin. And her perfume, oh my God, she smelled so beautiful that I could stay curled up with my girl for hours just breathing the air of euphoria and relief. I was so happy that amazing period when we were both crazy in love; you can’t even imagine how I felt. Even now, if I could see her again, I wouldn’t be able to express my feelings with words…
