It’s a bit like buses . . .

Good Morning,

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well, coping with lockdown life, and staying sane in what feels like an increasingly insane world. If you are a key worker, THANK YOU! Your efforts are very much appreciated. We are living in strange times, with things going on that in our previous lives ‘we couldn’t make up’.  Although there are many heroes out there, we’re finding that patience and common sense has not been distributed evenly throughout the world’s population. So, all I will say is, please stay safe, this virus is going to be with us for a while yet.

BUT, I’m sure you are all overloaded with CV-19 stuff, so in other news: Once I’d stop watching every news update, and now just dip in once a day for a dose of depression, with no work to go to, and not being able to look after my grandchildren, I started writing ‘properly’. The result, after many months of broken promises, is that the next in the Meredith & Hodge series, Not If You Paid Me, is written, finished, done! Almost.  Now with the editor, it’s then off to the proof reader, a little time for some rewriting etc., and it will be available on 17th June 2020 and is available to pre-order HERE.

AUDIO NEWS:  I’m delighted to say, that Audible has finally caught up with its back log, and both Mistaken Beliefs and Quite by Chance are now live.  Narrator, Lee Beddow, has almost finished Family Matters too, so with a fair wind and fingers crossed, that should be available next month! Nikki Loy is making great progress with Witness for Wendy, and I’ll keep you updated with regards to a release date. You’re going to love it! I still have FREE promo codes for the earlier books, please shout if you fancy trying one.

So, as the title says, it’s a bit like buses. Nothing for ages and then it all arrives at once!

I have also almost caught up with the reviews on the books I’ve read recently, and you can check them out HERE. Please remember how important your reviews are to authors, and when you have a moment, get them up to date. You don’t need to write an essay, just a couple of words will put a smile on an author’s face.

I’m going to have a week or so away from writing (Have you seen the state of my house!) and then I’ll be back at it. I have a vague story line for both Meredith & Hodge and the ladies in the Bearing Witness series, but not quite sure which way to jump at the moment. Hopefully applying some elbow grease to the house will focus the mind!

Stay safe, and happy reading,
