I am very concerned about Hong Kong. I am sure you are aware of what's happening. No man is an island. Although I have lived in the US for more than half a century and not much to remember Hong Kong, Beijing's villainous and evil fingerprints are still vivid in my memory in China.
I'm so sorry for my late reply, Oiman. Yes, I am aware of what's happening in Hong Kong in regard to Beijing's new security laws. It's devastating to think that their civil liberties will be taken away from them. I also heard about the dozens of arrests made today at the protests. Do you think people are still hopeful? Do you think they will continue to fight for democracy?
