Colorblocked Turtleneck Scarf Fabric, Tools & Supplies:
1/2 yd. each Two Colors – Stretch Jersey Knit Fabric (makes three Colorblocked Turtleneck Scarves)
Clover’s I Sew For Fun Spring Tape Measure
Clover’s 5-in-1 Sliding Gauge
Clover’s I Sew For Fun Heart-Shaped Pins
Clover’s 1/4″ Fusible Web Tape along fabric edge – within the seam allowance.
Placing the fusible web tape, within the seam, marks the seam opening and later finishes the final seam!
Stitch seam with a serger, or stitch with a sewing machine set for a wobble stitch, creating a fabric tube. Press seam flat, then press open or press to one side.
Fold fabric tube, right sides together, stacking and aligning stitched seam. Pin.
Stitch or serge seam leaving a 3″-4″ opening at the fusible web tape.
Turn Scarf right side out through seam opening.
Before moving on to the finishing step, go ahead and try on your scarf-in-process. Slip scarf over head and check for your desired fit. If scarf is too loose, turn inside out and restitch seam (above) taking a deeper seam allowance.Remove paper backing from
