Im a native West Virginian with a B.A. and M.A. in communication studies, honored as a West Virginia University Phi Beta Kappa. I taught at Fairmont State University for more than two decades where I was selected as an Outstanding Faculty Member. Upon retirement, I published Storm Path, a work of historical fiction based on the deadliest tornado in the history of the United States.
