I love Hamilton. It's not 100% accurate though. There's the line in Satisfied "My father has no sons so I'm the one who has to social climb for one". Phillip Schuyler did actually have sons and other children other than Angelica Eliza and Peggy, but Lin-Manuel Miranda literally forgot about them. But it is a great musical. I saw it live in February.

Phillip Schuyler did actually have sons and oth..."Yup, there are half a dozen little errors like that to make the story more interesting or make a line work - like Philip saying he has a little sister but he wants a little brother when he already has ... at least one little brother? Maybe 2 or 3? By the time he died, he had like 4 and a couple extra sisters. :P
And of course some things just aren't mentioned, like Angelica's kids or what happened to certain characters, etc. I guess there just wasn't time for it?
And this is nitpicky, but it always annoys me how both Eliza and Alexander refer to their first child as a "son" before he's born. Like ... y'all ...
Of course it's just rife with exaggerations and assumptions. A lot is presumed on. But I suppose that's creative license - I don't think it's meant to be precisely accurate, given casting choices and such.
