Is Silence an Option for Birds?

There's a free book out there today (and who doesn't need more books while we're locked in). It's called The Songbirds and it's by an author called Alif.

Jean Good question. I'm taking an Audubon class in identifying bird songs and calls. I'll let you know if silence is an option for them. ha ha

Jean Sheila, I pretty much said the same thing on your blog. I didn't find out if birds ever opt for silence, but it seems like some birders should. They have a special phishing call that makes birds alert but it really upsets them. Darn birders!
