#GUEST POST by Sarah Sutton, WHAT ARE FRIENDS FOR

When I Knew I Wanted to be a Writer
The first time I read The Gingerbread Man, I knew I wanted to be a writer. So much so that I took the book home from the school library, went to my mom’s computer, and began copying the book word for word onto the notes app. I thought that made me a writer. And then, from that, I went back and edited it to be the Gingerbread Boy and writing about his own adventures.Yeah, my first ever piece of writing was a Gingerbread Man fan-fic.I also remember in all of my free time, I scribbled on random pieces of notebook paper and shoved it into those folders that you get for school. In the fifth grade, I passed around that folder for my classmates to read, and was so excited to hear them tell me that I needed to grow up and become an author.Looking back on that now, it makes me smile. Like, a big, huge, stupid smile. Even from that age, I knew that I was to be a writer. One way or another, I would become one. That dream followed me as I grew, and though sometimes it was put on the back burner, the idea of being an author never really died out for me. That desire was still there, just quiet, building. But as I went into my senior year, that dream became loud again. I was growing up, told to decide what I wanted to be for the rest of my life. The answer came quick, simple: I want to be a writer. I still can’t believe the road I’m on right now, as well as the journey that led me to here, but it’s been such a dream. One that I’d been holding close to my heart for most of my life. And it’s so surreal to see that dream coming to a reality.

Seventeen-year-old Remi Beaufort learns this the hard way when she plays a blindfolded kissing game at a party. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">She thinks she’s kissing Jeremy, the totally hot basketball player she’s been crushing on. And the kiss…it’s amazing. Heart-stopping, world-changing, toe-curling. The kiss makes her forget about her overbearing mother, the next-door neighbor’s drama, and the probability that she’ll fail her senior year. The best kiss of her life makes all that fall away. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Until her blindfold falls off, and she realizes that instead of kissing her crush, she’s kissing Elijah, her best friend since third grade. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Though she manages to convince Elijah that he was kissing his girlfriend, Remi can’t get the thought of his lips on hers out of her head. As things between them grow more and more complicated—because it turns out her fantasizing about his mouth is more of a problem than it sounds—Remi has to make a choice: does she live the rest of her life loving her best friend in secret? Or does she tell the truth and risk ruining their friendship forever? </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Heart-melting and romantic, What Are Friends For? is a swoon-worthy best-friends-to-lovers story that will leave you crushing hard. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4... to Goodreads</a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.amazon.com/What-Are-Frien... * <a href="https://books.apple.com/us/book/what-... * <a href="https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/what... style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.silverdaggertours.com/upl..." imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="92" data-original-width="384" height="76" src="https://www.silverdaggertours.com/upl..." width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.silverdaggertours.com/upl..." imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="400" data-original-width="400" height="320" src="https://www.silverdaggertours.com/upl..." width="320" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Sarah Sutton is a YA Romance author, bringing you stories about teenagers falling in love (sometimes with magic)✨She spends her days dreaming up ideas with her two adorable puppies by her side being cheerleaders (and mega distractions). </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.sarah-sutton.com/"&g... * <a href="https://www.facebook.com/SarahMaeSutt... * <a href="https://twitter.com/SarahMaeSutton&qu... * <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sarahmaesut... * <a href="https://www.bookbub.com/authors/sarah... * <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Sarah-Sutton/e... * <a href="https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.silverdaggertours.com/upl..." imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="86" data-original-width="226" src="https://www.silverdaggertours.com/upl..." /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">$25 Amazon </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Follow the tour <a href="https://www.silverdaggertours.com/sds... for special content and a giveaway!</b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br /></b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b><br /></b></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a class="rcptr" data-raflid="23d974a92060" data-template="" data-theme="classic" href="http://www.rafflecopter.com/rafl/disp..." id="rcwidget_1nj3f0we" rel="nofollow">a Rafflecopter giveaway</a><script src="https://widget-prime.rafflecopter.com... style="text-align: center;"><br /></div></span></span><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J9X1ZhirJk..." imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="317" data-original-width="851" height="148" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-J9X1ZhirJk..." width="400" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.silverdaggertours.com/upl..." imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="287" data-original-width="400" height="143" src="https://www.silverdaggertours.com/upl..." width="200" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YGx7xg1aV4..." imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="150" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-YGx7xg1aV4..." width="200" /></a></div><br /><img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/TwoEnd..." height="1" width="1" alt=""/>
