Daily Drivel – Sure Would Be Something

Hello! Todays writing is inspired by TV shows (and their characters) that insist on breaking my heart

It sure would be something to have somebody stay,
When I could be more than a passing moment for them.
If I could just be enough for them to not walk away.

I know Im too much for even feeling this way,
But Ive been lonely, and empty, and then some.
It sure would be something to have somebody stay.

Its not that Im alone; not really. I just hope someday
Ill have someone whos excited for me to come...
