
When I started getting better, there was a span of time (I don’t remember how long – months, probably), where I would feel happy, but I kept saying “I don’t feel like myself”. I bought myself things, did nice stuff, treated my body properly, and it felt good and wrong at the same time.
You eventually get used to it. And then you’ll have a bad day and think all your hard work was for nothing. It’s not – you’ve already learned the hard stuff and you get back up.
