Good grief, I still haven't gone through the author tutorial

I still haven't gone through the author tutorial on Goodreads. I meant to last September. But in the meantime, at least I'm posting.

I've been reading Three by Annie Dillard. Three of her books compiled into one. I saw a quote in one from her that she says it takes 2 years to 10 years to write a book.
