It is always good to know that Im not alone, that there are younger Filipino historians. Recently in town for the holidays were Vina Lanzona (University of Hawaii) and Richard Chu (University of Massachusetts). Vina's tatest book was on Huk Amazons, Richard on Chinese in the colonial Philippines.
