Five Fifty: The Wartime Story of a Lancaster Squadron

Renowned aviation author Patrick Otter released a book in 2017 especially for 550 Squadron, entitled Five Fifty: The Wartime Story of a Lancaster Squadron which documents the activities of the squadron from inception to close.

A few copies of the book are still available and can be purchased from the 550 Squadron Association by contacting Mike Leeman, the association's treasurer.
