I kept your last message and played it on repeat to help me sleep.
It took me to a place where you were safe, and here, and whole.
And now, theres no excuse, and no way for me to keep
You here. Youre gone, youve left, you stole
Away from this world, switching out the light
And leaving everything starlit and cold,
No longer happy, vibrant, no longer bright,
Without you here, the days just get old.
Theres no life here now that youre gone,
I hope to follow you before too long.
