Sherlock Holmes, and Rampant Curiosity

I have recently been in a furrow of Holmesian musing, and the bordering on obsessive cogitating on the stories and characters—in all of their manifestations, BBC 1 to Granada, to William Gillette and canon—has made me aware of a familiar character prowling: Rampant Curiosity.
