Self-repost series time! If I titled my stories in the manner of Friends episodes, this story would be “The One with the UFOs and/or Russian Terrorists, Where Sherlock and John Can Only Talk About Their Feelings at Night”. :P This is a post-series 4, a destination story that takes place in the county of Tyne and Wear, on the northeast coast of England. Mycroft sends Sherlock and John on a case to investigate UFO sightings. The problem is that John has just made everything super awkward between them, and now they’re sharing a one-room cottage in the middle of nowhere. Much awkward ensues. Plus a case!
