In support of paper books made from dead trees, I'm giving away a few copies of This Brilliant Darkness!
The lovely Lyndi Alexander has me today on her blog, in the Other Writers, Other Worlds section. It's an interview, and answers quite a few questions about why I write. As usual, there's a deep dark secret or two in there. Leave a comment and you could win.
The other giveaway going on with a copy of TBD up for grabs is on the SweepingMe.com blog. I would love for you to swing by one or both and show your support for these lovely ladies who have been kind enough to host me, and support this author's efforts.
Hope you are having a great Friday, world. It's getting to a high of 25 here today, so I'm staying hunkered down inside, where I can watch the sweet snowflakes fall. Later today, I'll make a big dish of mac & cheese w/ bacon crumbles and bread crumbs on top, and we might order a movie from PPV. I know, I know, that sounds as unexciting as ALL GET OUT, but I am so looking forward to it.
Here's hoping that you have someone special to cuddle up with tonight, yourself. And if you don't, might I suggest a good book? Of course, there's mine, but you probably already have it. I'd also like to suggest this short story from my friend Axel. It's a goodie & it is FREE today. I also recently finished The Slab, by my friend Jeff, and it was impossible to put down. If you liked TBD, I think you will like it. Lastly, my friend Michelle's Book of Lost Souls made me laugh, page after page, in public, while I was trying to use the treadmill at the gym. If you can't find something in that paragraph to read, I'm sure you're at the wrong blog. ;)
Anyway, have a great weekend, and stay warm, and stay safe.
PS And don't be afraid to borrow those books, if you have Amazon Prime. We authors still get paid, so it's no difference to us. :)
PPS Next week I start drafting the outline for That Crackling Silence. (That's what I'm calling the sequel to TBD, in my head. What do you think?)
