To choose ourselves,
to point inward
all the care we’ve
ever pointed
out.

To choose health,
to choose the love
we told ourselves
was only for
giving away.  

We cannot love
others
if we do not first
cherish ourselves.

Start here,
refuse to sacrifice
yourself
a moment
longer.
